This franchise has been rebooted far too many times. In reality, Lara Croft should've been dead and buried after her untimely "death" in the series' fourth installment. Instead, we got a revamped Lara that was plagued with buggy controls and disappointing storylines. Against all odds, this new reboot looks good. Really good. The newest installment will give us a fleshed-out Lara that is simply a woman trying to survive on a very bizarre island. That's so much better than the influence of silicone's past.
