Yes, that is correct. Chuck Norris just did a commercial for World of Warcraft -- and it's nerdsmart. Since I enjoyed it so much, I'll just repeat the lines in the ad, commercial art unto themselves.
"Chuck Norris is a hunter. But Chuck Norris does not hunt. Hunting would imply the possibility of failure. There are 10 million people in the World of Warcraft because Chuck Norris allows them to live. 'I'm Chuck Norris, and I approve this game.'"
Perhaps equally important is that World of Warcraft debuted on PC exactly seven years ago today, setting off one of the biggest game franchises in video game history and helping to explode, once again, the notion that games were just for nerds. I mean, right? Because there just can't be 10 million nerds... There has to be some "normal" folks in there, too?
