Watch GDC 12: Top 5 Best Games at Microsoft Spring Showcase On Metacafe
Attending the Microsoft Spring Showcase last week, myself and young Scott Pierce blazed sweatily (i.e. drank profusely while casually playing games all night) through 35 plus games only to realize, "Wow! There are only five really good XBLA games here!"
Yes, I am being terribly insincere. There were probably slightly more than five really good ones; so, the rest we'll save for Scott's awesome Top Five Best Console Games at Microsoft Spring Showcase. For the underdog XBLA games in this list, however, there are surprises and delights, and we're happy to say that Blood Forge, Deadlight, Trials HD, and even Tony Hawk are wonderfully playable (in Tony Hawk's Pro Skater HD).
