After completing the stylish, well-liked action-adventure, LA Noire, Team Bondi reaped the rewards of its six-year project: a few million units in sales followed by the dismantling of its studio. There was also, admittedly, an undisclosed amount of debt, too, but hey, "c'est la vie!"
Still, studio director Brendan McNamara knows how to make games -- and how to keep his studio alive. In a recent Financial Review story about film maker George Miller, the publication revealed that McNamara's team is working on the very commercial endeavor, Happy Feet 2, and also an original game of McNamara's, The Whore of the Orient, a great story that hasn't been told yet, according to the studio. There are no details, platforms, or images of the game yet, which is surely in early development.
