AMC already has the monopoly on the most original content on cable between Breaking Bad, Mad Men and The Walking Dead, but now they're aiming to be purveyors of cutting edge web series. How do they plan on achieving this? First step was greenlighting a Walking Dead-inspired show from Greg Nicotero based on the most popular "walker" Bicycle Girl (Lilli Birdsell) who famously gets her head blown off by Rick Grimes (Andrew Lincoln) in the Darabont pilot. Premiering on amctv.com October 3rd, Nicotero's six part webisode shines a light on what life was like for her, and everyone else, before it devolved into straight up zombie pandemonium. You'll have to wait until the 16th for the full-on zombie pandemonium that is The Walking Dead, but AMC did released another long trailer to further fuel your fustration.
