The minds behind Coraline give stop-motion zombies a heart and a friend among the living in their sophmore movie, ParaNorman. Sure, it's aimed as family friendly fare but if those button-eyed others taught us anything, it's that studio LAIKA has a side that's darker than Pixar's Up.
ParaNorman is in theaters August 17.
