Fandom at its best in Star Wars: Uncut

Star Wars fans are known for their particularly devoted brand of geekdom, but a group of fans have just taken it to a whole other level.  Star Wars: Uncut, a crowd-sourced shot-by-shot reenactment of Star Wars: A New Hope, has finally hit the internet in its entirety.

Thousands of fans came together to create the film, composed of hundreds of individually shot 15-second segments.  The effect?  A charming, weird, and hallucination-inducing ode to the power of fandom.
